Action

Volunteers are the heart of the I.D.F.D. (International Dance Festival Disability). They assist in our work in various ways, contributing according to the time they have available, their experience, skills, personal connections, and the services they can offer. The main responsibilities they take on include: welcoming guests, guiding, accompanying the groups, informing the public, and promoting the institution.

Volunteer Activity Areas

  • Office Team: Secretarial support, external tasks, transportation.
  • Event Team: Organization, participation in events, Bazaar.
  • Education Team: In the educational program.
  • Creative Team: Music, sound, special constructions, advertising promotion.
  • Fundraising Team: Sponsorships, donations, finding resources with local organizations, businesses, or individuals.

Other Volunteer Engagement Areas
In addition to the teams mentioned above, there are other areas where one can be involved as a volunteer. The requirement for participation in a volunteer team is being over 18 years old and available during the days of the event. Every year, the IDFD volunteers get together with their team, at the IDFD meetings and festival, until the closing party! The distinctive t-shirt they wear marks their role during the event and makes them stand out. After the event, volunteers receive an electronic certificate for their participation.

Registrations for IDFD 2025 volunteers are now open!
